FDVedanta Terms, Privacy and Refund Policy

1. Introduction
Welcome to FDVedanta ("FDVedanta", "we", "us" or "our").
These Terms, Privacy and Refund Policy govern your participation in FDVedanta events, workshops, retreats, coaching services, mentoring programmes, online courses, and related services.
By registering for an event, purchasing a programme, engaging coaching services, or using our website, you agree to these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
2. Services
FDVedanta provides services which may include:

Educational resources and materials
All coaching, mentoring and educational services are provided for personal growth and development purposes and do not constitute legal, financial, medical, psychiatric or professional advice.
3. Registration and Payment
Full payment may be required before attendance at an event or commencement of coaching services.
FDVedanta reserves the right to refuse participation where payment has not been received.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Events, Workshops and Retreats
Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Event
A participant may request a refund of 90% of fees paid. A 10% administration fee may be retained to cover booking and processing costs.
Cancellation Between 15 and 30 Days Before Event
A refund of 50% of the fees paid may be granted.
Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Event
No refund will be payable.
Non-Attendance
Failure to attend an event does not qualify for a refund.
Registration Transfer
At FDVedanta's discretion, registration may be transferred to another person or future event if requested in writing before the event date.
4.2 Individual Coaching Sessions
Clients may reschedule a booked appointment by providing at least 48 hours' notice.
Where less than 48 hours' notice is given:

The session will be considered used.

No refund will be provided.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
4.3 Coaching Packages and Programmes
Where a coaching package includes multiple sessions:

Completed sessions remain payable and non-refundable.

Refunds may be considered only for unused sessions.

Any approved refund will be calculated after deducting the value of sessions already delivered and reasonable administrative costs.
4.4 Online Courses and Digital Products
Because digital materials become immediately accessible upon purchase:

No refund will generally be available after access has been provided.

Exceptions may apply where required by South African law.
4.5 Cancellation by FDVedanta
If FDVedanta cancels an event or programme, participants may choose:

A full refund; or
-
Transfer to a future programme, course, workshop or event.
FDVedanta is not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, transport or related expenses incurred by participants.
4.6 Special Circumstances
Medical emergencies, family emergencies and other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.
Supporting documentation may be requested.
5. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable South African legislation.
Where mandatory legal rights conflict with any provision of this policy, the applicable law shall prevail.

8. Recording of Events
FDVedanta may photograph or record events for educational, marketing and archival purposes.
Participants consent to reasonable use of such recordings unless written objection is submitted prior to the event.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Participation in coaching and events is voluntary.

Individuals remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

FDVedanta shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from participation in any coaching, programme or event.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
